Greg Davis Chosen By Maker’s Mark to be Director of Distillery Operations

Greg Davis will be Director of Distillery Operations for Maker’s Mark premium spirits brands. He will report directly to Maker’s Mark Vice President Operations and Master Distiller Kevin Smith.

Greg Davis comes to Maker’s Mark with extensive experience in the Bourbon industry. Most recently, he has served as Master Distiller at the
Tom Moore Distillery (formerly Barton’s) for the past 10 years. While at Tom Moore, Davis was instrumental in driving innovations and efficiency improvements in their operations.
In addition to being a Master Distiller, Davis is also a Brew Master and worked for several years at the Bohannon Brewery where he led some of their innovation. He has also worked in research and development for Brown-Forman Corp., where he was responsible for processing and developing fermentable products, yeast selection and maturation of some of their select Bourbon brands.
Davis and his family reside in Bardstown, Ky., the Bourbon capital of the world.
