I ran across a new blog the other day that I have added to my RSS feed because it offers a lot of great stuff of interest to the brotherhood of the BBQ.

What grabbed my attention first was this how-to on building a dream outdoor kitchen. It was written by Diana Dart who was born into the patio design business.  Working in her family contracting business for years, she’s now part owner and loves spending her time helping homeowners create an oasis in their backyards.

She offers some great advice and guidance.

But what really excited me was the abundance of recipes from the Sonoma wine country. The blog is from Outdora which is located in Sonoma.

As you are aware, Sonoma has some of the finest gourmet chefs in the country.  They don’t do BBQ in that part of the country that can hold a candle to this area, but they still love to use the open flames and flavors that offer up some fantastic, mouth-watering dishes.

Outdora aims to make the outdoor spaces a part of your lifestyle. For those of us who enjoy – live – for cooking over an open flame, they have a huge selection of state-of-the-art barbecue grills and accessories. Extending the BBQ season is easy if you pick up one of their patio heaters.

Some day - someday, we will be road-tripping the Sonoma Valley. Man cannot live life on BBQ and bourbon alone. So we will mix in some wine and fine-dining in our life.
