Barren River Lake State Resort Park brings back Buffalo Night  on Feb. 6, 2010.

Buffalo Night is a time to go back in history, when the buffalo roamed the barrens of south central Kentucky.

The Driftwood Restaurant will be offering a buffet with an assortment of buffalo dishes including carved steamship rounds, bourbon BBQ buffalo, buffalo chili, Cajun buffalo and buffalo meatloaf with hunter’s sauce.

The buffet will also include traditional dishes such as fried chicken and catfish, salad bar, a variety of vegetables and a variety of desserts.

The Brushfire Band will be performing bluegrass music in the restaurant and The Little Homestead will be in the Stonehaven Gallery with a living history portrayal and artifacts.
