Distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail are planning several holiday events.

The Jim Beam distilleries in Frankfort and Clermont, Ky., will begin production of DeKuyper cordials and other spirits now being bottled outside of Kentucky.
The jobs will be added to Beam’s Frankfort operations, where the company also plans to invest more than $28 million to upgrade technology over the next two years, according to the release.

Kentucky’s bourbon distillers are pushing the legislature to simplify tasting laws during the next session.
