Andrea Wilson, director of operations for Diageo North America, has been named chairwoman of the Kentucky Distillers’ Association’s board of directors.

The association’s board of directors also appointed other officers.

Chris Morris, master distiller at Brown-Forman Corp., was named vice chairman, and John Rhea, COO at Four Roses Distillery, in Lawrenceburg, Ky., is secretary-treasurer. The new appointees will serve through December 2009.

In addition, the board named several new members: Jeff Conder, vice president of Beam Global Spirits & Wine’s Americas Operations; Meredith Moody, marketing services director for Buffalo Trace; David Hobbs, vice president and plant manager of Heaven Hill Distilleries Inc.; and Tom Krekeler, managing director of Wild Turkey Distillery.
