Parker’s Heritage Named Best-in-show Bourbon; Baker’s Wins Double Gold; Basil Hayden’s and Knob Creek Win Gold; Willett Pot Still Gets Double Gold for Packaging
The San Francisco World Spirits Competition announced that two Kentucky Bourbons scored significant awards in their recent competition, and other Kentucky Bourbons earned honors also.
Parker’s Heritage Collection Kentucky Straight Bourbon won Best in Show for brown spirits.
Best in Show is determined from Double Gold winning spirits that have been elevated to a final round of Sweepstakes and are judged by the entire group of judges as the very best in each category.
Parker’s Heritage Collection Bourbon was judged the very finest and should be on every Bourbon lover’s short list of finest Bourbon.
Baker’s Bourbon won a Double Gold medal.
Basil Hayden’s and Knob Creek won Gold medals.

The 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition was held on March 15th and 16th at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in San Francisco. The international competition is held annually and inspires more than 800 spirits entries from around the world. Judging is based on blind taste tests and medals are awarded based on taste alone.
